Late Cancellation/No Show Policy

  • It is not up to the therapist to determine what does and does not constitute as an emergency for clients, so in order to ensure fairness to all active clients and clients on the waitlist, this late cancellation/no show policy has been set in place.

  • We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. Appointments that are not cancelled before the 24-hour mark of scheduled session, will incur a late cancellation fee of $75 for private insurance and self pay clients. (ex: If session is scheduled for Tuesday at 4pm. Session should be cancelled before 4 pm on Monday to avoid fee). We do not go by a "cancel the day before” policy, but by an exact 24-hour timeframe.

  • We allow a 7 minute grace period, afterwards sessions are marked as late or no-show.

  • Please reschedule your cancelled or late-cancelled session as soon as possible. Please note that availability may be limited, and the therapist may not always have open time slots. Sessions can be rescheduled through the client portal app.

  • Please note that insurance companies do not reimburse for missed sessions. 

  • For Medicaid clients, after two late cancellations or no-shows, a referral to another provider may be made.

  • For all clients, after two late cancellations or no-shows for an initial assessment, clients will be removed from scheduling, referrals may be provided, and the chart will be closed.
