A Safe Space for Healing, Confidence & Growth

Reaching out for support for yourself or your child is a meaningful step. It’s not always easy, and you don’t have to have everything figured out to begin. I’m truly glad you’re here.

You deserve to feel like you’re thriving, not just surviving.

I provide virtual individual therapy for girls and adolescents across South Carolina in a supportive space that encourages emotional growth, confidence, self-discovery, and open expression.

My approach is compassionate, personalized, and thoughtfully tailored to meet each client where they are emotionally and developmentally. Sessions are designed to help clients feel comfortable expressing themselves openly while learning healthy ways to navigate emotions, stress, relationships, and life’s challenges.

When clinically appropriate, caregiver collaboration and support can also be incorporated to help reinforce progress outside of sessions.

💛 Helping clients feel more confident, grounded, emotionally aware, and at peace within themselves.

Supporting Emotional Wellness

My goal is to help clients build confidence, strengthen emotional resilience, and develop healthier ways to cope with life’s challenges. Whether your child is struggling with anxiety, emotional overwhelm, self-esteem concerns, social difficulties, or major life transitions, therapy can provide a supportive space to process emotions, build insight, and develop practical skills for everyday life.

One of the most rewarding parts of my work is watching clients grow into more self-assured and emotionally empowered versions of themselves.

Together, we may work on:

  • Building healthy coping skills

  • Strengthening emotional regulation

  • Improving communication and relationships

  • Increasing confidence and self-esteem

  • Coping with school, social, and personal challenges

  • Developing emotional awareness and problem-solving skills

What to Expect in Therapy

Therapy sessions are personalized and paced to meet each client’s individual needs and comfort level. My goal is to create an environment where clients feel seen, understood, and supported throughout the therapeutic process.

Sessions may include:

  • Supportive conversation and guided reflection

  • Creative expression and therapeutic activities

  • Skill-building for emotional awareness and coping

  • Problem-solving and confidence-building strategies

  • Age-appropriate emotional education and support

💛 Clients leave sessions with practical tools they can begin using in everyday situations outside of therapy.

How We Work Together

I use a blend of evidence-based approaches and creative therapeutic techniques to support emotional wellness and personal growth. Depending on the client’s age, needs, and goals, therapy may incorporate:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Helps clients recognize unhelpful thought patterns and develop healthier ways to manage emotions and behaviors.

  • Behavioral Therapy: Focuses on identifying behavior patterns, building positive routines, increasing healthy coping responses, and using practical strategies to support emotional and behavioral change.

  • Mindfulness-based strategies: Encourages clients to stay present, reduce stress, and increase emotional awareness.

  • Solution-Focused Therapy: Helps clients build on their strengths and focus on achievable goals and progress.

  • Play therapy interventions: Uses age-appropriate play activities to help children express emotions, process experiences, and build coping skills.

  • Art and creative expression: Provides creative ways for clients to communicate feelings, improve self-expression, and process emotions.

  • Therapeutic Games and Activities: Incorporates interactive activities to help children and teens build coping skills, emotional awareness, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities in an engaging way.

  • Psycho-education: Helps clients and caregivers better understand emotions, behaviors, mental health, and coping strategies.

  • Emotional regulation skill-building: Teaches clients healthy ways to manage intense emotions, frustration, stress, and emotional reactions.

  • Coping Skills Development: Helps clients learn and practice healthy coping strategies to manage stress, anxiety, emotional distress, and life challenges.

Educational and Professional Background

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Lander University and my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Webster University. Beyond the Therapy Room

I believe in practicing the same balance, self-care, and intentional wellness that I encourage within therapy sessions.

Outside of my work, I enjoy meaningful ways to recharge, stay grounded, and prioritize personal growth.

  • ✈️ Traveling and exploring new places

  • ☕ Coffee and tea moments

  • 🎯 Vision boards and goal-setting

  • 💞 Spending quality time with loved ones and friends

  • 📝 Journaling, relaxation, and intentional rest

💛 I also enjoy starting my days grounded in positive affirmations such as:
“I am worthy of peace,” “I can do hard things,” and “Progress over perfection.”
